Terms and Conditions

Sociedad de Biofísica de España (SBE), Serrano 119, 28006, Madrid (Spain), is responsible for organizational aspects of the Congress for participants.

(VECISA), Hermosilla 112, 28009, Madrid (Spain), Spanish Tax ID No: A-28229813, registered in Madrid Companies House under Volume 2506, Page 16329, Sheet 119, has been appointed as the official Travel Agency for the SBE 2017 Congress and therefore is in charge of the Technical Secretariat. On registering for the event, participants (also referred to as "you") are entering an agreement with VECISA.

By registering to the Congress, you are consciously accepting these terms and conditions mentioned.

Methods of Payment

Payments can be made either via bank transfer or via credit card. 

Payment via Bank Transfer

Any bank charges will have to be covered by the participant. Participant’s full name and SBE17 must be indicated in the transference description. It is mandatory to send the bank transfer copy by email to the Technical Secretariat: sevillacongresos2@viajeseci.es

Payment via Credit Card

Online payments with Visa, Eurocard or Mastercard can be made during the registration process. The charge may be indicated in your credit card breakdown either as “El Corte Inglés” or “El Corte Inglés-Hermosilla”.

Registration Cancellation & Refund Policies

All registration cancellation requests must be sent by email to the Technical Secretariat (sevillacongresos2@viajeseci.es).

• Cancellation requests received before April, 15^th will have a penalty of 50%.
• Cancellation requests received on or after April, 15th will have no refund.

Refunds will be processed after the congress. No cash refunds will be made for credit/debit card payments.

Modification and Cancellation of the Congress

SBE reserves the right to modify the Congress program, which is published as an indication only.

In the event of cancellation of the Congress, at any time, as a result of any event of 'force majeure' or for other reasons that are beyond the control of SBE and/or VECISA, the registration fee shall be refunded but neither SBE nor VECISA shall be held liable for any other costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. 

Disclaimer

Neither SBE nor VECISA shall be responsible for any bodily injury/death or property damages (including theft) sustained by participants during the Congress.

In any event, neither SBE nor VECISA accept liability for damages in the event of bodily injury/death, property damage, disruption to travel plans and costs incurred as a result of ‘force majeure’.  ‘Force majeure’ (or ‘Act of God’) reasons include but are not limited to: war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, health risks, fire and closure of airports or airspace. 

Registration and Information at the Congress

During the Congress, there will be a Registration Desk within the Congress Venue for on-site registrations and distribution of the name badges, as well as for assisting participants with other on-site queries.

Governing law

Any dispute resulting from the above terms and conditions will be subject to Spanish law, and by accepting these terms you are submitting yourself to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Madrid (Spain).
